A VR video player for 360°, 180° and flat video.
Overview
What it is
Rotunda is a video player for PC VR. It plays 360° video that surrounds you, 180° video that fills your view, and ordinary flat video on a screen in front of you. Each of these works in mono or in stereo.
I’m building it in Unity, and it decodes video with my own FFmpeg-based decoders.
It’s in development for Windows PC VR. I plan to release it on Steam and the Meta Horizon Store.
